About Paulo Franca

Years in Fitness Industry: 5 years directly as a fitness instructor in Australia and since 2002 as a Sports Physio in Brazil.

Client Specialisation:  Strength & Conditioning, Injury Prevention, Returning to Sports and Sport Specific.

What is your level of experience?
Being a semi-pro Roller Hockey player (1996 to 2004), training 5 days a week at the highest level of Roller Hockey in Brazil, nurtured my interest in the sport and fitness industry and gave me the insight and experience to know what it is like from the clients end.
From there, in 2004 I focused on my Physio career and in 2007 I finished my specialization in Sports Physio and worked with different types of athletes, from golf players to entire soccer teams.
In Brazil, I worked as a Sports Physio for a Sports Club that gave me the opportunity to work with high end athletes in Futsal, with some players that were part of the Brazilian and Argentinian national teams, as well as Olympians from the Brazilian Gymnastics team.
In 2015 I arrived in Australia and started working with Mat Pilates. That led me to seek further training in the fitness industry and in 2017 I finished a Certificate 3 in Fitness and started working for Canterbury Bankstown Football Club focusing on injury prevention, applying the FIFA 11+ protocol and also as a first aider.
In late 2019 I joined the O2 team where I have enjoyed gaining more experience in Strength and Conditioning and applying that knowledge into client routines.

How do you give your Clients the results they desire?
I help my clients achieve their goals by providing an individual program that is evidence based and designed specifically to ensure the clients reach their goals but also experience sessions that are challenging and enjoyable.
