What is Nutrition?

Nutrition is the science that establishes the relationship between a person’s diet and their levels of health. Proper nutrition is the supply of essential nutrients to cells and organisms, necessary to support life. The foods that we consume play more of a role in our health than perhaps anything else. It may sound like a cliché, but “you are what you eat”, rings with truth. Good nutrition leads to a healthy body, a sound mind and optimum performance in your everyday life.
